Add the paste in small patches, creating raised areas—future craters. It’s best to make a few larger zones and then add smaller ones around them.

Apply the texture paste to the surface using a palette knife.
Step 4
Gently blend the edges with the palette knife so the texture transitions smoothly from one area to another. Don’t aim for perfect smoothness—the Moon’s surface is uneven.
